This bill updates federal land rules in the Lake Tahoe Basin by allowing funds originally set aside for land purchases to also cover land management activities, administrative costs, and cultural preservation. It recognizes the Lake Tahoe Basin as the ancestral homeland of the Washoe Tribe of Nevada
